Charlie LeVaughn "Bud" Ray, 85, of Ray City, died Wednesday November 18, 2020 at his residence.

He was born June 18, 1935 in Berrien County to the late Cola Ray and the late Sarah Eula Taylor Ray. He was a farmer and retired from Sears as a Service Department manager with 35 years of service. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Ray City and was preceded in death by a sister: Maudine West.

He is survived by his wife: Barbara Ruth E'Dalgo Ray of Ray City; 3 sons: Ricky (Denise) Ray of Ray City, David Ray of Valdosta and Marcus Ray of Valdosta; 6 grandchildren: Randy, Haley, Tera, Dakota, Camden and Luca; sister: Hazel Odom of Nashville.

Funeral services will be held Saturday November 21, 2020 at 2 PM in the First Baptist Church of Ray City with the Rev. Robbie Peay and Rev. Lee Graham officiating. Interment will follow in the Beaver Dam Cemetery. Visitation is Friday 6-8 PM.
