Bunny Baker, 73, of the West Berrien Community, died Sunday, August 23, 2026, in the Rehabilitation Center of South GA.

She was born April 6, 1953, in Cook County to the late Melton Bennett and the late Lola Moore Bennett. She was a homemaker, loved her family, adored her grandchildren and attended New River Holiness Church. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, feeding her hummingbirds and helping anyone she could. She was preceded in death by 2 sisters: Lavonia Scott and Louise Baker; brother: Lee Bennett.

She is survived by her husband: Gene Baker of West Berrien; daughter: Amanda Baker of Alapaha; son: Robbie (Kim) Baker of West Berrien; 4 sisters: Wanda Bennett of Adel, Gloria Kilpatrick of Tifton, Guanice (Ronnie) Bromlow of Chula and Lola Hancock of West Berrien; 2 brothers: Nolan (Brenda) Bennett of Adel and William (Kristi) Bennett of Douglas; 6 grandchildren: Kayleigh (Johnny) Rodriguez, Robbie (Zack) Kilbourn, Paiten Porter, Madison Porter, Natalie Porter and Leighann Baker; 2 great grandchildren: JJ and Elora; 3 sisters-in-law: Sue Bennett of West Berrien, Debra Baker of Enigma and Etta Baker of Soperton; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, August 27, 2026, at 11 AM in the Chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with the Rev. Mike Bennett officiating. Interment will follow in the Pine Grove cemetery. Visitation is Thursday, in the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
