Carl Jasper Pafford, 82, of Nashville ( West Berrien Community), died Saturday April 28, 2018 at his residence.

He was born October 14, 1935 in Berrien County to the late Joseph Marion Pafford, Jr. and the late Martha Baldree Pafford. He was a  farmer for over 60 years and a member of Pine Grove Baptist Church. He loved and sang southern gospel music for over 40 years with the Glory Road Singers, New Grace and The Paffords. He was married to his "Silver Fox" Beverly for 62 years and they would have celebrated their 63rd anniversary on July 9th.  He was preceded in death by a son:  Carl Gregory Pafford.

He is survived by his loving wife: Beverly Turner Pafford of West Berrien; 2 daughters: Patricia (Mike) Bonnett of Douglas and Brenda Pafford of West Berrien; 5 granddaughters: Carla Ugalde of TyTy, Candace (Derron) Spikes of Chula, Marie Pafford of Adel, Linley (Darren) Johnson of West Berrien and Jessica Pafford of Nashville; 7 great grandchildren: Gavin, Madison, Callie, Olivia Spikes and Karmen Tovar of Chula, Mikah Pafford of Adel and Gregory Edward Harper of Nashville; 2 bonus grandchildren: Sheila and Cierra Clark of Statesboro; 3 sisters: Carolyn (Larry) Henderson of Spartanburg, SC;  Faye Moore of Adel and Barbara Taylor of Adel; brother: Randall (Rachel) Pafford of Salisbury, NC; several nieces, nephews and cousins who are very special to him; beloved Pomeranian: Sassy.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday May 1, 2018 at 2 PM in the Chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with Rev. Mickey Lindsey, Rev. Blair Joiner and Rev. Chris Martin officiating. Interment will follow in the Nashville Memorial Gardens. Visitation is Monday from 6 to 8 PM.
