Carl James Wollitz, age 79 of Nashville, died Sunday August 15 at his residence.

Survivors include his wife, Elfrida Kelley Wollitz of Nashville; 2 daughters, Wanda Snyder and Cheryl Holmes both of Nashville; 2 sons, Edward (Bonnie) Wollitz of Nashville and Erik (Alissa) Wollitz of Waco, Tx; 10 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren; son-in-law, Thomas Holmes of Nashville; sister, Wilma Allen of Jacksonville, Fl; brother, Raymond Wollitz of Jacksonville, Fl; many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by a son, Carl James Wollitz, Jr.

The family will honor his request for cremation. A memorial service will be held Thursday August 19 at 5 pm in the chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with Rev. J.W. Dukes, III and Rev. Junior Swain officiating.
