Obituary

Carol Rouse May, 79, of Nashville, died Wednesday July 24, 2019 at the Rehabilitation Center of South Georgia.

He was born December 6, 1939 in Berrien County to the late Glenn May and the late Avanell Gaskins May. He retired civil service at Moody Air Force Base and was a member of Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints Nashville Ward. He was the widower of Verma Lee Davis May who died in 2017 and was also preceded in death by 2 brothers: Clyde "Tinker" May and Kenneth May. He served in the United States Army and served during the Cuban Crisis.

He is survived by his daughter: Dawn May of Nashville; son: Greg (Connie) May of Nashville; 4 grandchildren: Victoria Atkison, Shelly Kirk, Dawson May and Ayden Karst; 3 great grandchildren: Kylie Kirk, McGarrett Atkison and Zoey Kirk.

Funeral services will be held Saturday July 27, 2019 at 2 PM in the Chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with Bishop Michael Spikes, Mr. Tommy Spikes and Mr. Stevie Sirmans officiating. Interment will follow in the Nashville Memorial Gardens. Visitation is Friday from 7 to 9 PM.
