Carol Wheeler Strout, 53, of Nashville, died Friday March 24, 2023 at the residence of her daughter in Nashville.

She was born April 3, 1969 in Louisville, KY to the late Goldrick Gene Wheeler and the late Martha Hiers Skinner. She was homemaker, worked as an office assistant for Dr. Rick Wheeler and was employed with the GA Federal Inspections as a peanut inspector. She loved her children, grandchildren, friends and attended Long Bridge Connection Church.

She is survived by 2 daughters: Amber (Will) Hughes of Nashville and Cassandra (Trevor) Kellogg-Yocom of Valdosta; 2 brothers: Dr. Rick (Cynthia) Wheeler of Nashville and Roger Clark of Nashville; 2 grandchildren: Seth Pittman and Chloe Edge; companion: Larry Vickers of Nashville.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday March 29, 2023 at 4 PM in the Chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with the Rev. Jason Clanton officiating. Interment will follow in the Nashville Memorial Gardens. Visitation is Wednesday one hour prior to the service in the funeral home.
