Carolyn Hoover, 88, of Nashville died Tuesday July 1, 2025, at her residence.

She was born December 7, 1936, in Perry, FL to the late Lonnie Hudson and the late Ethel Virginia Campbell Terrill.  She retired from the Berrien County Housing Authority maintenance after 30 years of service. She loved her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and shopping. She was the widow of Robert Wayne Hoover who died in 2020. She was also preceded in death by a sister: Debbie Carter; 4 brothers: D.C. Hudson, George Hudson, Dale Terrill and Ronnie Hudson; son-in-law: Denny Wetherington.

She is survived by daughter: April Wetherington of Nashville; 2 step-daughters: Pam (Seab) Temples of Valdosta and Danita (Shannon) Downey of Tampa, FL; 7 grandchildren: Brandon (Megan) Flanders of Nashville, Dakota (Kayla) Flanders of Enigma, Amanda (Blake) Coody of Valdosta, Ryan (Elizabeth) Downey of Tampa, FL, Rileigh Downey of Tampa, FL, Zachary Temples of Valdosta and Tyler Temples of Valdosta; 13 great-grandchildren; 2 sisters: Kaye Thompson of Perry, FL and Rose (Enoch) Benefield of Donaldsonville; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 5, 2025, at 2 PM in the Chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with Rev. Jason Clanton officiating. Interment will follow in Nashville Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be in the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
