Carolyn Powell, 81, of Nashville, died Friday July 28, 2023 at the Fellowship Home in Nashville.

She was born November 2, 1941 in Berrien County to the late James Guy Dove and the late Dorothy Brooks Dove. She retired as the county executive director at the ASCS office, member of the Nashville Methodist Church and member of the Nashville/Berrien Rotary Club.

She is survived by her daughter: Neva (Bill) McPherson of Milledgeville; brother: Jackie (Martha) Dove of Athens.

Funeral services will be held Monday July 31, 2023 at 11 AM in the Chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with the Rev Mark Addington officiating. Interment will follow in the Vickers cemetery. Visitation is Monday one hour prior to the service in the funeral home. The family would like to sincerely thank the staff of the Fellowship Home for their love and care. Memorials can be made to the Nashville Methodist Church or Sheriff's Boys Ranch.
