Carrol
Futch
April 7, 1955 – January 7, 2026
Carrol Turner Futch, 70, passed away on January 7, 2026, at his home in Marietta, Georgia.
Carrol was born on April 7, 1955, in Hahira, Georgia, to the late Henry Turner Futch and the late Georgia Louise Bradford Futch. He proudly served in the United States Marine Corps, a commitment he carried with him for life. "Once a Marine, always a Marine" wasn't just a saying to Carrol—it was how he lived. True to that spirit, he fought bravely and with determination until the very end.
Carrol had a deep love for motorcycles and race cars, and he found peace in the outdoors. Some of his happiest moments were spent fishing in Nashville, Georgia, alongside his buddies, enjoying good company and the simple things he loved most.
He was preceded in death by his sisters, Patty Anderson and Marie Beeman; and his brothers, Swinton Futch, Winslow Futch, and Cordell Futch.
He is survived by his twin sister, Carolyn Grubaugh (Tim) of Marietta, Georgia; and his brother, Roy Futch of Jacksonville, Florida.
A graveside service will be held at Westview Cemetery in Nashville, Georgia, on February 28 at 11:00 a.m. A celebration of life will follow at Cadillac Café, where friends and family are invited to gather, share memories, and honor Carrol's life.
