William "Carroll" Waters went home to Jesus on May 27, 2021 at the age of 78.

Carroll was born to Reese Albert and Jessie Studstill Waters on September 1, 1942 in Douglas, GA. Carroll joins his parents and brother, Reese Jr, in Heaven. Carroll was a man of great faith and his life was full, serving others and enjoying the company of his family and dear friends. His sunny disposition, kind and helpful manner brought such light and joy wherever he was. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his family, who were the light of his life, a wife of 48 years, Nora Sullivan; his sons Matthew (Stephanie), Tim (Falyn), Brent (Chrissie); grandchildren Ariel, Jacob, Ryan, Gavin and Ella; his sisters Margaret (Bubba) Knight, Jenny (Curt) Lacy, Nina Waters; his brothers James (Charlotte) and Robbie (Trina) Waters.

A memorial service will be held Saturday June 5, 2021 at 11 AM in the Beaver Dam Cemetery.
