Carson Taylor's Obituary
Marvin Dennis Carson Taylor, 77, of Nashville died Wednesday April 20, 2016 at his residence.
He was born May 26, 1938 in Cook County to the late Johnny Dennis Taylor and the late Ida Paul Taylor. He served in the U. S. Army, was a retired truck driver for Chaparral Boats and a member of Vickers Church. He was the widower of Betty Jo Taylor who died February 19, 2015. He was also preceded in death by his brother: Clifford Taylor; and sister: Bernice Kirkland.
He is survived by 3 sons: LaWayne (Daphne) Taylor, Lamar (Kristie)Taylor and Earl Wayne (Rhonda) Simmons all of Nashville; brother: Gary Woodard of Tifton; sister: Bermont DeLille of Tifton; 7 grandchildren: Gunner, Hunner, Tunner, Bryce, Ryder, Jonathan and Cameron; 2 great grandchildren: Tyson and Shiloh; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be held on Sunday April 24, 2016 at 2 PM in the Chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with the Rev. Ronnie Lawson officiating. Interment will follow in Vickers Cemetery. Visitation will be held Saturday from 6-8 PM.
