Catherine Williams' Obituary
Catherine Williams, 76, of Douglasville, died Sunday August 31, 2014 at the Tanner Medical Center in Carrollton.
She was born March 9, 1938 in Lowndes County to the late Richard Thaddeus Christie and the late Ozzie Ovetta Swilley. She was a homemaker and retired with C&S Bank in bookkeeping. She was a member of the 1st Church of the Nazarene and the widow of Harold Lee Williams.
She is survived by 2 daughters: Karen Davis of Buchanan and Jana Green of Douglasville; sister: Carolyn Benner of Mt. Pleasant Mills, PA; 4 grandsons: Justin Hollis, Lee Chandler Davis, Christopher L. Vickery, and Bryan L. Johnson; 2 granddaughters: Amber Vickery and Alison Wendt.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday September 2, 2014 at 2 PM in the Swilley Hill Church of God with the Rev. Phillip Radley officiating. Interment will follow in the Swilley Hill Cemetery. Memorials are requested to the Parkinson's Foundation.
