Cathy Bennett, 73, of Nashville died Tuesday, June 10, 2025, at her residence.

She was born March 31, 1952, in Hahira to the late John Smith and the late Louise Smith Bennett. She worked at Berrien Middle School as a paraprofessional and a cafeteria worker. She enjoyed working in her yard, planting flowers and putting up vegetables and was a member of Community Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by a sister: Joyce Bennett.

She is survived by her husband: Wayne Bennett of Nashville; 2 sons: Scottie Bennett of Nashville and Brad (Suzanne) Bennett of Nashville; 2 grandsons: Jacob Bennett of Marrietta and Levi Bennett of Nashville; brother: John Smith of Nashville.

Funeral services will be held Friday, June 13, 2025, at 4 PM in Community Methodist Church with Rev. Sarah Faulkner and Rev. Tommy Bussey officiating. Interment will follow in Bennett Family Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service in the church.
