Tina Chantell Stonecypher, 56, of Nashville, died Wednesday October 27, 2021 at SGMC in Valdosta.
She was born February 28, 1965 in Irwin County to the late Raymond Jackson Stone and Marilee Shaw Stone. She was employed with Barwick Banking Company as a teller, had previously worked with the Berrien County Board of Education as a teacher at Alapaha Elementary School and Nashville Elementary School as a media specialist. She was a member of the Riverbend Missionary Baptist Church. She loved her family and faithfully served as a pastor's wife for 36 years.
She is survived by her husband: Pastor Terron Stonecypher of Nashville; 3 sons: Luke (Brittany) Stonecypher of Nashville, Seth (Breanna) Stonecypher of Nashville and Joel Stonecypher of Nashville; mother: Marilee Stone of Alapaha; 2 sisters: Michelle Barton of Tifton and Misty (Jeremy) Hyers of Alapaha; 4 grandchildren: Sadii, Ainsley, Kolbie and Cole; a grandchild on the way; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Sunday October 31, 2021 at 3 PM in the Riverbend Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Donald Fender and the Rev. Teddy Williamson officiating. Interment will follow in the Riverbend Cemetery. Visitation is Saturday from 7 to 9 PM in the funeral home.
