Charles William Bristol, 83, of Alapaha, died Friday November 29, 2024 at his residence.

He was born April 26, 1941 in Tellico Plains, TN to the late Otis William Bristol and the late Lois Barr Bristol. He was a retired gas superintendent for 39 years with the City of Nashville, was a plumber and faithful member of New Fellowship Church. He enjoyed fishing, playing his guitar, singing about his Lord, working in the yard, gardening and helping whoever needed a hand. He was preceded in death by 3 sisters: Ruth Hendley, Frances Bristol and Ruby Bristol; 2 brothers: A.J. Bristol and Junior Bristol; daughter-in-law: Rhonda Bristol.

He is survived by his wife: Helen Lane Bristol of Alapaha; daughter: Rebecca (Michael) Warren of Alapaha; 2 sons: Bill Bristol of Alapaha and Stacey (Kacy) Bristol of Alapaha; 10 grandchildren: Chris Bristol of TyTy, Kayla Bristol of Alapaha, Zach Bristol (Abigail Tedder) of Nashville, Deidra (Josh) Rowe of Alapaha, Taylor (Deonte) Williams of Nashville, Luke Griffin of Alapaha, Payton Warren of Alapaha, Noah Bristol of Alapaha, Madelyn Richardson of Sale City and Riley Richardson of Sale City; 3 great grandchildren: Emmi, Brynlee and Dixie Grace; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Monday December 2, 2024 at 3 PM in the New Fellowship Church with the Rev. Clarence Luke officiating. Interment will follow in the Nashville Memorial Gardens. Visitation is Monday from 1 to 3 PM in the church. Flowers are accepted or memorials can be made to New Fellowship Church.
