Charles Lewis "Charlie" Grant, 91, of Nashville died Friday March 24, 2017 in the Berrien Nursing Center.
He was born June 28, 1925 in Oconee County, SC to the late Horace Grant and the late Laura Whitfield Grant. He retired as plant electrical engineer from Amoco Fabrics and was a member of Nashville First Baptist Church. He served in the U. S. Navy during WWII. He was preceded in death by his wife: Margaret Grant who died in 2007; daughter: Jane Grant; a son: Charles David Grant; and a sister: Mildred Childress.
He is survived by his daughter: Ann (Michael) Barton of Nashville; 4 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Thursday March 30, 2017 at 11 AM in the Chapel of Lovein Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Nashville Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Wednesday from 6-8.
