Charles Leroy Harper, 87, of Nashville died Thursday May 25, 2017 at SGMC Berrien Campus.
He was born May 28, 1929 in Berrien County to the late Charlie Harper and the late Alice Whitley Harper. He was a farmer, a veteran of the U. S. Army and of the Baptist Faith. He was preceded in death by 2 brothers: Vinson Harper and Lucious Harper; a sister: Melba McClellan.
He is survived by his wife: Wylene Boyd Harper of Nashville; 2 sons: Terry (Paula) Harper of Nashville and Doug (Deena) Harper of Nashville; brother: Marshall Harper of Nashville; 2 sisters: Floried Hogan of Nashville and Jean Rowe of Crescent Beach, FL; 5 grandchildren: Cassie Harper, Bree Harper, Whit Harper, Maddie Harper and Charleigh Harper.
Funeral services will be held Saturday May 27, 2017 at 2 PM in the Chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with the Rev. Ken Potts officiating. Interment will follow in Nashville Memorial Gardens. Visitation is Saturday 12 - 2 PM.
