Charles Wesley Oliver, 80, of Ellenton, died Sunday February 21, 2016 at Magnolia Manor South in Moultrie.
He was born September 5, 1935 in McRae, Georgia to the late John Wesley Oliver and the late Willie Maude Oliver. He retired from Del-Cook Lumber Co. as a debark operator and was of the Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by his wives: Ennie Mae Oliver and Joan Oliver; brother: Bill Oliver; grandson: Christopher Oliver.
He is survived by his companion: Abbie Tyler of Ellenton; 2 daughters: Latrisha Chapman of Lakeland and Rhonda Beaver of Pennsylvania; 4 sons: Sam Oliver of Nashville, Kenneth Oliver of Nashville, Terrell Chapman of North Carolina and Brent Chapman of Lakeland; several grandchildren and 3 sisters-in-law.
Graveside funeral services will be held Tuesday February 23, 2016 at 11 AM in Westview Cemetery with the Rev. Jeff Palmer officiating. Visitation is Tuesday one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
