Charles Lester "Snooky" Overstreet, 70, of Nashville, died Friday November 4, 2022 at his residence.

He was born August 12, 1952 in Lowndes County to the late Charles Lester Overstreet and the late Alberta Baldree Overstreet. He was a contractor, carpenter, for many years worked for Vulcan Steel and Akins, Inc. He was preceded in death by 2 brothers and a sister.

He is survived by his wife: Frances Skinner Overstreet of Nashville; 2 daughters: Tammy (John DeBoyd) Overstreet of Nashville and Larryssa Overstreet of Nashville; son: Tony Overstreet of Nashville; 2 grandchildren: Amber (Johnny) Johnson of Nashville and Cody (Kristen) Overstreet of Eatonton; 6 great grandchildren: Madelyn, Rhett, Remington, Julianna, Kayden and Wyatt.

Funeral services will be held Saturday November 5, 2022 at 4 PM in the Chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with Rev. Morgan Harrison and Mr. Buck Warren officiating. Interment will follow in the Guthrie cemetery. Visitation is Saturday one hour prior to the service.
