Charles Edward Williams, 73, of Nashville, died Friday July 21, 2023 at his residence.

He was born December 31, 1949 in Atkinson County to the late Jack Williams and the late Annie Mae Jowers Edgy. He was a retired regional manager for the southern region engineering and construction with the Georgia Department of Natural Resources after 33 years of service. He was an avid golfer, huge Georgia Bulldog fan, racing fan and loved to travel. He was a true "Jack of all trades, master of most", a Mason and member of Duncan Lodge #234. He was preceded in death by a daughter: Jessica Williams, son: Todd Williams; grandson: Jackson Grant and a brother-in-law: Rev. Randy Mosley.

He is survived by his wife: Ann Griner Williams of Nashville; sister: Sharon Mosely of Adel; brother: Gary (Brenda) Williams of Brunswick; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday July 25, 2023 at 11 AM in the Chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with the Rev. Robby Rowe officiating. Interment will follow in the Nashville Memorial Gardens. Visitation is Monday from 6 to 8 PM in the funeral home.
