Troy Charlie Stanford, 64, of Nashville died Saturday March 17, 2012 at Archbold Medical Center in Thomasville.
He was born July 15, 1947 in Berrien County to the late Chesley Stanford and the late Susie Luke. He was the owner of Granddad's Pest Control. He was a member of the A New Covenant Church in Ray City and an Army Veteran. He was the widower of Evelyn Stone Stanford who died in 2003. He was also preceded in death by a daughter: Evelyn Melinda Sapp who died in 1999 and 2 brothers and a sister.
He is survived by his daughter: Michelle Beck of Nashville; son: Troy Stanford, Jr of Nashville; 10 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; 3 sisters: Bea Branch, Gerline Stanford, and Emalois Harrell all of Fitzgerald; 2 brothers: Joe Stanford of Fitzgerald and Roy Stanford of Enigma.
Funeral services will be held Monday March 19, 2012 at 2 PM in the Chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with the Rev. Jeff Palmer officiating. Interment will follow in the Nashville Memorial Gardens. Visitation is Sunday from 7 to 9 PM.
