Charlotte Dillard, 81, of Nashville, died Thursday, October 9, 2025, in the Berrien Oaks.

She was born December 8, 1943, in Berrien County to the late Bo Boyd and the late Vertture Sutton Boyd. She was a homemaker and attended Hope Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by 3 sons: Thomas Mathis, Richard Mathis, and Russell Mathis; 6 brothers: Melton Boyd, Paul Boyd, J.C. Boyd, Henry Boyd, Gary Boyd, and Raiford Conger; 1 great granddaughter: Ariel Pitts; and a great great grandson: Jesse Herndon.

Pallbearers will include: Cameron Mathis, AJ Boyd, Kenneth Boyd Jr, Johnny Clements (Hambone), Austin Clements, and Charlie Hutchinson.

She is survived by her husband: William Dillard of Nashville; daughter: Evie Boyd (Kenny) of Alapaha; son: Kenneth Mathis (Holly) of Nashville; sister: Mary Boyd of Jacksonville, FL; 2 brothers: W.J. Boyd of Nashville and Ricky Boyd of Jacksonville, FL; 10 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren, 18 great great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held Monday October 13, 2025, at 4 PM in the Chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with the Rev.
David Smith officiating. Interment will follow in the Empire Cemetery. Visitation is Monday one hour prior to the
service in the funeral home.
