Obituary

Charlotte Tyson, 67, of Nashville died Friday May 11, 2012 in the South Georgia Medical Center.

She was born June 22, 1944 in Berrien County to the late Phillip Jackson Turner and the late Ruby Lee Taylor. She was employed with Berrien Nursing Center as a certified nurse aid. She was a member of Pine Grove Missionary Baptist Church and attended Faith Chapel. She gave her heart fully to serve others through making homemade blankets, hats, and cakes. She was truly a giving person who loved serving the Lord, family, friends, and church. She was the widow of Robert Eugene Tyson who died in 2002.

She is survived by her daughter: Tina (Scott) Stalnaker of Nashville; son: Bill (Billie Joe) Sutton of Nashville; half daughter: Pam Sutton (Bobby) Hilliard of Adel; 3 step daughters: Pam Tyson and Renee Bodine both of Ocean Springs, MS, and Sherry Merek of Mountain Rest, SC; step son: Glenn Tyson of Ocean Springs, MS; 2 sisters: Beverly (Carl) Pafford of West Berrien, and Phyllis (Alton) Bailey of Nashville; brother: Billy (Lee) Turner of Nashville; 3 grandchildren; Summer, Reed, and Boone; several half and step grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Monday May 14, 2012 at 11 AM in the Chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with the Rev. Mike Bennett and the Rev. Mark Swain officiating. Interment will follow in the Long Bridge Cemetery. Visitation is Sunday from 7 to 9 PM
