Christine Elizabeth Bryan, 77, of the West Berrien Community, died Saturday September 14, 2024, at her residence.

She was born July 13, 1947, in Berrien County to the late Little Carter Exum and the late Rhoda Temples Exum. She was a retired educator with the Berrien County Board of Education and member of Flat Creek Church. After retirement, she taught in the hospital homebound program and was instrumental in starting the Flat Creek School. She loved her family, flowers and all the students she impacted for so many years. She was a true Godly lady and we will always remember her smile.

She is survived by her husband of 56 years: Charles Bryan of West Berrien; daughter: Teresa (Todd) Frasier of Lakeland; son: Chuck Bryan of West Berrien; sister: Carolyn Vaughn of Lakeland; 2 brothers: Alton (Susan) Exum of Nashville and Jerry Exum of Nashville; 5 grandchildren: Seth (Stephanie) Bryan, Sarah Jewell, Brock Jewell, Eli Bryan and Titus Bryan; great granddaughter: Harper Jewell; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Monday September 16, 2024, at 11 AM in Flat Creek Church with the Rev. Mark Swain, Rev. Clarence Luke, Rev. Mike Bennett and Rev. Garvie Nichols, Jr officiating. Interment will follow in the Flat Creek cemetery. Visitation is Sunday from 6 to 8 PM in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Christine Bryan Scholarship Fund (C/O Bank of Alapaha).
