Christopher Dewayne Rowan, 17, of Nashville, died Wednesday January 22, 2014 at his residence.
He was born October 31, 1996 in Lowndes County to Gene Rowan and Brenda June Powell. He was a loving, son, brother, who loved the outdoors and life. We love you and we know you had big dreams. He was preceded in death by a sister: Misty Dawn Yeoman.
He is survived by his mother: Brenda Powell and Jay Hawkins of Nashville; father: Gene Rowan of Quitman; brother: Brandon Rowan of Nashville; 4 sisters: Sara Rowan and Christopher McDonald of Sparks, Brandy Rowell and Michael Herndon of Nashville, Rhonda Rowan of Sparks, and Jenny Rowan of Adel; special aunt and uncle: Shaun and Tanya Boye'r of Adel; special friends: Jay Hawkins, Jr, Shae Catlett, and Kathy Garcia all of Nashville.
The family appreciates your thoughts and prayers. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
