Clara Belle Hayes Cribb, 91, of Willacoochee died Thursday November 10, 2016 in Palemon Gaskins Memorial Nursing Home in Ocilla.

She was born May 22, 1925 in Berrien County to the late Clarence Hayes and the late Annie Belle Jowers Hayes. She was a homemaker , a member of St. Luke Missionary Baptist Church and the widow of Henry Carter Cribb who died in 1998. She was also preceded in death by a grandson: Joel Cribb; son-in-law: Ottis Langston; 2 brothers: Rufus Hayes and Carol Hayes.

She is survived by 3 daughters: Lavonya (Roy) Stone of Alapaha, Ramona Langston of Tallahassee, Fl and Nelda (Tommy) Flanders of Douglas; 4 sons: Wendell Lee (Carolyn) Cribb of Tifton, Jerry Wayne (Mary Lou) Cribb of Willacoochee, Hayward Carter (Mildred) Cribb o f Willacoochee and Terry (Sheila) Cribb of Willacoochee; 5 sisters: Marie Bruce of Willacoochee, Leola Ritch of Eustis, FL, Odell Tucker of Alapaha, Vonnell Cooley of Mt. Dora, FL and Maxine Green of Mt. Dora, FL.; 4 brothers: Horace Hayes of Pearson, Marcus Hayes of Nashville, Gerald Hayes of Willacoochee and Dorman Hayes of Mt Dora, FL; 13 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Sunday November 13, 2016 at 2 PM in St. Luke Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Kevin Stone and Rev. Michael Bennett officiating. Interment will follow in St. Luke Cemetery. Visitation will be held Saturday from 5-7 PM.
