Clarice P. Brown, 86, of Adel died Monday September 2, 2013 at her daughter's residence.
She was born February 2, 1927 in Sylacauga, AL to the late Melvin Parsons and the late Mable Smith. She was employed with the Farmhouse Restaurant and VSU in the cafeteria and was of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her husband: Johnnie Brown who died in 1976 and a sister: Valorie Wallace.
She is survived by a daughter: Janice Gail Price of Adel; son: Steve (Deborah) Brown of Valdosta; 4 grandchildren: Johnny (Allison) Brown, Jr. o f Hahira; Amanda Monk of Adel; Paul ( Candice) Brown of Hahira, Robert Brian (Jamie) Price of Adel; 2 sisters: Jean Wherlery of South Port, FL; Linda McGuffie of Birmingham, AL; a brother: Jerry Wayne Parsons of Sylacauga, AL; and 11 great grandchildren.
A graveside funeral services will be held Thursday September 5, 2013 at 11:00 AM in Long Bridge Cemetery. Visitation will be on Thursday from 9:00 AM until time of the service.
