Clarine Vickers, 79, of Douglas, died Tuesday, October 14, 2025, at her residence.

She was born January 30, 1946, in Coffee County to the late Milton Ricketson and the late Vera Strickland Ricketson. She was a homemaker, loving mother, a childcare provider for over 30 years and a devoted member of Bushnell Chapel for 49 years.

She is survived by her husband: James Vickers of Douglas; daughter: Vanessa Johnson of Douglas; 2 sons: Marty (Jodie) Vickers of Douglas and Monty (Kaye) Vickers of Douglas; sister: Betty Horton of Brunswick; 2 brothers: Raymond (Sheryl) Ricketson of Broxton and Ronnie (Cindy) Ricketson of Broxton; 6 grandchildren: Tyler Castañon, Logan Vickers, Macon Vickers, Hollie Johnson, Rexlee Johnson and Bentley Johnson; several nieces and nephews.

Graveside funeral service will be held Wednesday, October 22, 2025, at 4 PM with Rev. Scott Smith officiating in the Riverside Cemetery. Visitation will be in the cemetery one hour prior to the service.
