Dr. G. Clarke Harkins, 85, of Nashville died Wednesday September 26, 2018 in the Berrien Nursing Center.

He was born September 2, 1933 in Union County to the late Ernest Lee Harkins and the late Ebbie Perry Harkins.  He was a retired Chiropractor after 60 years of practice, a member of Nashville First Baptist Church - Deacon Emeritus and served in the U. S. Army.  He was preceded in death by his wife: Barbara Jean Harkins who died May 18, 2018.

He is survived by 4 daughters: Sharon Harkins of Folkston, Holly Moore of Morven, Mia (Michael) Crowley of Columbus and Dera Harkins of Pelham; 4 grandchildren: Judson (Amanda) Moore of Morven, Whitney Bennett of Knoxville, TN, Nick Crowley of Beaufort, SC, and Jake Crowley of Columbus.

Funeral services will be held Saturday September 29, 2018 at 2 PM in the Chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with the Rev. Jimmy Hinson and the Rev. Danny Ray officiating. Interment will follow in Nashville Memorial Gardens.  Visitation will be Saturday two hours prior to the service.
