Cleo Herbert Dees, 102, died Sunday November 30, 2014 in the Berrien Nursing Center.
He was born February 8, 1912 in Berrien County to the late James Benjamin Dees and the late Matilda Hancock Dees. He was a retired farmer. He was preceded in death by his wives: Emma Tyson Dees and Millie Ann Corbitt Dees; 2 daughters: Melba Doris Dees Lee and Miriam Jeanette Dees Johnson; 2 sons: Jimmy Herbert Dees and Darrell Dewayne Dees.
He is survived by his daughter: Patricia Basler of St. Charles, Mo; son: Johnny Dees of Nashville; 17 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, and numerous great great grandchildren.
Graveside funeral services will be held Wednesday December 3, 2014 at 2 PM in the Long Bridge Cemetery with the Rev. Jackie Connell officiating. Visitation is Wednesday from noon until time of services.
