Colleen Burns Wright, 81, of Ray City, died Monday September 9, 2019 at her residence.

She was born December 22, 1937 in Montgomery County to the late Edward Duren Burns and the late Glenzie Gibbs Burns. She was a homemaker and a member of Glory Church.

She is survived by her husband: Dewitt Wright of Ray City; daughter: Lisa (Terry) Crane of TyTy; 2 sons: Malcolm (Vicky) Wright of Hahira and Dewitt (Kathi) Wright, Jr of Valdosta; 6 grandchildren: Bryson, Grant, Jillian, Caleb, Jared and Audrey; other family members: Mitzie Vanderbeck of Brunswick, Mark Burns of Tarrytown, Russell Burns of Tarrytown and Gwen Rivers of Tarrytown.

Funeral services will be held Friday September 13, 2019 at 2 PM in the Chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with the Rev. Larry Hauser officiating. Visitation is one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow on Saturday September 14, 2019 at 2 PM in the Tarrytown Cemetery.
