Michael Craig McCorvey, 54, of Asheville, NC, formerly of Nashville, GA, passed away Sunday, June 28, 2026, at Mission Hospital in Asheville, NC.

He was born January 19, 1972, in Valdosta, GA, to the late Riley Dan McCorvey and the late Carol Cromartie Alvis. He was a welder for Alloy Welding. He loved his family and enjoyed spending time with his two children, Carson and Riley. He was an avid outdoorsman and loved hunting, fishing, and bottle hunting.

Craig is survived by his daughter: Carson McCorvey of Lenoir, NC; son: Riley McCorvey of Nashville, TN; two sisters: Angie (Rob) Lovein of Nashville, GA, and Margo (Steven) Mathis of Nashville, GA; 2 nieces: Caroline (Clay) Peters and Mattie Mae Mathis; 2 nephews: Tripp (Halleigh) Lovein and Rowan Mathis.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
