Curtis Avery Smith, 63, of Nashville, died Friday June 4, 2021 at his residence.

He was born March 2, 1958 in Lowndes County to the late James Avery Smith and the late Doris Willene Hendley. He was a driver with Rest E-Z waste disposal and attended Flat Creek Church.

He is survived by 2 brothers: Richard "Buddy" Gaskins of Nashville and Billy Jack Gaskins of Commerce; sister: Sandra Holbert of Ohio; companion: Linda Luke Gaskins of Nashville.

Graveside funeral services will be held Friday June 11, 2021 at 10 AM in the Nashville Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Mike Bennett officiating. Visitation is Friday one hour prior to the service in the funeral home.
