Damon Catlin Ford, 44, of Nashville, died Tuesday January 18, 2022 at UF Health Shands in Gainesville, FL.

He was born August 1, 1977 in Lowndes County to Henry Wilson Ford and Rebecca Ann Dent. He was disabled and a member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church. He loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing, had a beautiful voice and was a big man with a bigger heart.

He is survived by his father: Henry (Anita) Ford of Nashville; mother: Becky (Steve) Counts of Lakeland; 2 brothers: Colt Ford of Nashville and Neal (Angie) Ford of Ray City; 4 step sisters: Jessie (Ben) Anderson of North Augusta, SC, Megan (Brad) Sasser of Appling, Sabrina (John) Nugent of Willacoochee and Jessica Spivey of Pearson; special friend: Wilma Tuttle of Nashville and her daughters: Selena Sandlin and Haylee Tuttle; 3 nieces: Jaden, Ansley and Braelyn; 5 nephews: Bruce, Jace, Troy, Auden and Drake.

Funeral services will be held Sunday January 23, 2022 at 3 PM in the Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church with the Rev. Stan Stalvey, Rev. Clarence Luke and Rev. Terry Ford officiating. Interment will follow in the Ford Family cemetery. Visitation is Sunday in the church one hour prior to the service.
