Damon Hogan, Jr, 65, of Sylva, NC, died Monday, December 1, 2025, at his residence.

He was born November 21, 1960, in Amarillo, TX to the late Damon Hogan and Faye Downer Hogan. He was a carpenter, loved to fish and hunt. He was preceded in death by his wife: Connie Hogan and a brother: Jimmy Hogan.

He is survived by his mother: Faye Hogan of Nashville; son: Jason Hogan of Jacksonville, FL; sister: Michelle Phillips of Alapaha; brother: Michael (Lindsey) Hogan of Nashville; 3 grandchildren: Noah, Brandon and Harmony; several nieces and nephews.

His family will honor request for cremation and a private memorial service will be held at a later date.
