Daniel Aaron Butler, 31, of Alapaha died Sunday October 29, 2017 at his residence.
He was born April 4, 1986 in Tifton to Richard Stanley Butler and Katherine Fender Butler. He worked as a farm laborer and attended Flat Creek Church. He attended school in Berrien County and instead of graduation received his GED in 2007. He loved to bass fish and his cat, Rocky.
He is survived by his parents: Stan & Kathy Butler of Alapaha; brother: David Butler of Nashville; paternal grandmother: Joyce Butler of Nashville; nephews: Tai Carter Butler and Blaine Butler; uncles and aunts: Russ & Twila Butler of Jackson, Dwayne & Shirley Roland of Nashville and Greg & Darlene Griner of Nashville; cousins: Kayla, Derek, Chris, Timothy, Nicky, Daniel and Melissa; great aunts; Lil Whiddon of Lake City, Fl and Olita Chaney of Nashville.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday November 1, 2017 at 11 AM at Flat Creek Church with the Rev. Mickey Lindsey officiating. Interment will follow in Flat Creek Cemetery. Visitation is at the church one hour prior to the service.
