Daniel "Danny" Royce Hendley, 71 of Nashville (Riverside Community), died Thursday December 29, 2016 at Grady Memorial Hospital in Atlanta.
He was born February 5, 1945 in Berrien County to the late Talmadge Hendley and the late Lou Daniels. He was a graduate of Georgia Tech where he was a member of the Yellow Jackets football team and he also played high school football at Valdosta High School under Coach Bazemore. He was a retired farmer and a member of the Nashville First Baptist Church. He was a person who was bigger than life and touched people all across the world.
He is survived by his wife: Susan Todd Hendley of Nashville; son: Tyrus (Debbie) Hendley of Nashville; 2 daughters: Kristy (David) Spring of Nashville and Donna (Frank) Casey of Warner Robins; 10 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Sunday January 1, 2016 at 2 PM in the Nashville First Baptist Church with the Rev. Keith Stewart, Rev. David Spring and Rev. Stanley Luke officiating. Interment will follow in Riverside Cemetery. Visitation is Saturday from 6 to 8 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorials are requested to the Nashville First Baptist Church.
