Darrell Lee Alexander, 71, of Nashville, died Friday February 10, 2023 at Tift Regional Medical Center.

He was born June 5, 1951 in Cook County to the late Gertley Alexander and the late Alice Griner Alexander. He was a retired bridge foreman with the Georgia Department of Transportation and a member of The Cross Church. He was preceded in death by 3 sisters: Marie Alexander, Marm Spires and Othell Purvis; brother: O.G. Alexander.

He is survived by his wife: Earnestine Tucker Alexander of Nashville; 2 daughters: Mandy (James) Couch of Nashville and Lacey Alexander of Nashville; 5 grandchildren; Kobe Chance, Jaslyn Couch, Kenya Hall, Savannah Harris and Hannah Buchanan; 2 sisters: Elouise (Clarence) Iverson of Newnan and Jackie Smith of Valdosta; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Monday February 13, 2023 at 2 PM in the Chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with the Rev. Chris Martin officiating.  Interment will follow in the Nashville Memorial Gardens. Visitation is Monday one hour prior to the service.
