David Wayne McDonald, 58, of Nashville, died Friday March 18, 2022 at SGMC Berrien Campus.

He was born July 17, 1963 in Jacksonville, Arkansas to the late Junior "Mac" McDonald and the late Katie Mae Spires McDonald. He was a landscaper, avid collector of Star Wars and Captain Marvell, loved his fur babies (6 dogs and 4 cats), friends, and adored his wife. He was preceded in death by a sister: Kimberly McDonald and a brother: John McDonald.

He is survived by his wife: Jenny McDonald of Nashville; niece: Katie Cumbess of Nashville; nephews: Steven Robles of Nashville, Mark Robles, Michael Robles, Danny Robles all of California, Andrew Thurber of Nashville; 2 brothers: David (Katina) Blount of Nashville and Darrell (Pauline) Blount of Nashville; mother-in-law: Reba Gibson of Nashville; sister-in-law: Tammy Robles of Nashville; numerous other nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday March 22, 2022 at 2 PM in the Chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with the Rev. Chris Martin officiating. Interment will follow in the Nashville Memorial Gardens. Visitation is Tuesday one hour prior to the service.
