Dazell Metts Roberts, age 85 of Alapaha, died Friday October 29 at her residence. She was the widow of Carroll Wycliff Roberts who died in 1985 and was a former Berrien County Commissioner.

Survivors include a daughter, Judy (Billy) Stewart of Alapaha; son, Steve (Elaine) Roberts of Alapaha; 4 grandchildren, Carroll Roberts, Lorie Beasley, Ashley Stewart and Cliff Stewart; 6 great grandchildren, Amanda Hulsey, Stephen Roberts, Savannah Roberts, Nathan Roberts, Cody Beasley and Jared Beasley.

Funeral services will be held Monday November 1 at 11 am in the chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with the Rev. Mickey Lindsey officiating. Interment will follow in the Brogdon cemetery.

Visitation is Sunday 7-9 pm at the funeral home.
