Deborah Kay Rector, 65, of Nashville passed away on January 28, 2022 at the Glen Eagle Nursing Home in Abbeville.

She was born September 15, 1956 in Fort Worth, Texas to the late Harold Rector and the late Emma Lou Fauske Rector.  She lived in Berrien County for the last 50 years and was a graduate of Berrien County High School. Debbie worked in the auto parts business for many years.  She was very proud on her Cherokee Indian heritage and was an avid NASCAR fan. She also had a great love of her dogs and animals. She was preceded in death by a brother: Rex Rector.

She is survived by her brothers Ron (Lori) Rector of Brunswick and Randy Rector of Valdosta; nephew Ladd Rector of Brunswick.

Her family will honor her request for cremation and a service will be held at a later date.
