Delbert Simmons, 56, of Nashville died Friday July 6, 2018 in the Berrien Nursing Center.

He was born September 26, 1961 in Jacksonville, FL to the late Max Simmons and the late Ida Pearl Gaskins.  Delbert was a very special person and touched the lives of all who knew him.

He is survived by a sister: Jan Harrelson of Nashville; and numerous nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday July 10, 2018 at 10 AM in the Chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with Pastor Raymond Cason officiating. Interment will follow in Westview Cemetery.  The family would like to thank the staff of the Berrien Nursing Center for their many years of love and care for Delbert.  Visitation is Monday 6 to 8 PM.
