Millie Delma Studdard, age 86 of Tifton, died Monday May 23, 2022 at her residence.

She was born December 6, 1935 in Cook County to the late Willie B. Burnsed and the late Alice Mae Griffin. She worked 3 years in Nashville with Dixieland 5 & 10, 5 years with Diana Stores Corp, 7 years with Sears Roebuck in Louisville, Ky and New Orleans, LA. She retired after 23 years with Belk's in Lumberton, NC and was a member of Tifton First Baptist Church. She attended Louisiana State University New Orleans, Roberson Technical Institute and Pembroke State University in Pembroke, NC. She was preceded in death by 3 sisters: Flora Gaskins, Reba Davis and Maxie Nell Davis; 3 brothers: Ethridge Burnsed, Malcolm Burnsed and Wendell Burnsed.

She is survived by her son: Patrick Studdard (Dr. Greg Bard) of Menomonie, Wisconsin; 2 sisters: Doris Baldree and Margie Allen both of Tifton; 2 brothers: Maurice (Barbara) Burnsed of Nashville and Everett (Ann) Burnsed of Lakeland; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Saturday May 28, 2022 at 11 AM in the Chapel of Lovein Funeral Home w ith the Rev. Jerry Baldree officiating. Visitation is Saturday one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in the Nashville Memorial Gardens
