Deloris Ann Puckett, 83, died Wednesday, July 8, 2026, at Tift Regional Medical Center.

She was born July 29, 1942, in Jenkins, KY to the late Jess Morefield and the late Dora Morefield. She retired from Spann Deck as an office clerk, loved her family, going to church, watching tv and growing flowers. She was a member of Faith Ministries and the widow of Elbert McArthur “Bert” Puckett who died in 1989. She was also preceded in death by 4 sisters and a brother.

She is survived by her 2 sons: Butch Puckett of Ray City and Edward “Mark” Puckett of Nashville; 6 grandchildren: Ashley (Eric) Hass of Valdosta, Brody Pucket of FL, Peyton (Jared) Massey of Leesburg, FL, Brittany Puckett of Valdosta, Jesse Puckett of FL and Paige Puckett of St. Mary’s; several great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 11, 2026, at 5 PM in the Chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with Rev. Phillip Simmons officiating. Visitation will be held in the funeral home one hour prior to the service. Interment will be held on Wednesday, July 15, 2026, in the Green Acres cemetery in Whitesburg, KY at 1 PM.
