Dennis Ray Gaskins, 65, of Kissimmee, FL died Friday July 10, 2020 at Orlando Health in Orlando, FL.

He was born August 9, 1954 in Berrien County to the late Manning Gaskins and the late Ada Estelle Crosby. He was a true entrepreneur who owned and operated grocery stores and sold cars. He was a veteran of the U. S. Navy and a member of Nashville First Baptist Church.  He was preceded in death by a son: Derrick Gaskins; sister: Geraldine Swanson; two brothers: Bobby Gaskins and Ronnie Gaskins; nephew: Chad Gaskins; and granddaughter: Jade Brady.

He is survived by his wife: Kay Taylor Gaskins of Kissimmee, FL; son: Denny Ray Gaskins of Nashville; brother: Neil (Ann) Gaskins of Nashville; five grandchildren: Kelsey Gaskins, Rena Gaskins, Hana Gaskins, Linsey Gaskins and Rosalina (R. J.) Gaskins.

Funeral services will be held Thursday July 16, 2020 at 11 AM in the Chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with the Rev. J. W. Dukes, III and Rev. Vernon Hughes officiating.  Interment will follow in Riverside Cemetery.  Visitation will be Wednesday 6-8 PM.
