Derek Andrew Pilcher, 42, of Adel, died Saturday, April 18, 2026, at his residence.

He was born October 3, 1983, in Valdosta, GA to the late Terry Derrell Pilcher and the late Teresa Fountain Pilcher. He was a salesman with Lasseter Motors in Valdosta. He loved his family, working, fishing and the Georgia Bulldogs.

He is survived by his wife: Brandy Pilcher of Adel; daughter: Kattie Pilcher of Valdosta; son: Kolton Pilcher of Enigma; brother: Brett (Danielle) Pilcher of Valdosta; father-in-law and mother-in-law: Harry and Victoria Brook of St. Marys; aunt and uncle: Brenda and Stanley Gaskins of Nashville; special cousins: Jennifer (Tony) Green of Valdosta, Pete (Roy) Moore of Adel, Rebekah (Scott) Rigby of Nashville and Caleb (Brooke) Gaskins of Adel; Best friend: Chad (Susan) Clanton of Nashville.

A memorial service will be held Sunday, April 26, 2026, at 5 PM in the Chapel of Lovein Funeral Home. Visitation will be held Sunday one hour prior to the service in the funeral home.
