Deva Lynn Potter, 51, of Nashville, died Wednesday October 16, 2024, at Jacksonville Memorial Hospital.

She was born April 13, 1973, in Hot Springs, Arkansas to the late William Thomas Howerton and Katherine Sue Jenkins. She worked in quality control for Chaparral Boats and spent her time loving her grandchildren.

She is survived by a daughter: Kaysha Goforth of Ray City; 2 sons: Derrick (Taylor) Howerton of Alapaha and Dean Howerton of Alapaha; mother: Katherine Jenkins of Porter, OK; 2 sisters: Allicia (Lewis) Prouse of Charleston, WV and Amanda Brown of Porter, OK; 2 brothers: Joseph (Lorelei) Goforth of Humboldt, KA and Chris Howerton of Killeen, TX; 6 special grandchildren.

Memorialization will be cremation and her family will have a private service.
