William Don Chivers, 80, of Nashville, died Friday, May 30, 2025, at SGMC Valdosta.

He was born October 4, 1944, in Sandersville, GA to the late William Tillman Chivers and the late Naomi Smith Bailey. He was a retired truck driver with Heartland Express and also drove for Walmart. He was a member of Flat Creek Church, loved to fish, working in his yard, going to flea markets and thrift stores. He was preceded in death by his wife: Sharon Wynell "Nell" Chivers who died in 2022; granddaughter: Brooke Chivers and a sister: Judy Jernigan.

He is survived by a daughter: Becky (Ted) Schuebert of Valdosta; son: Billy (Jennifer) Chivers of Winder; step son: Koven (Janice) Luke of Adel; 3 grandchildren: Kasey (Brooke) Luke, Teddy (Bre) Schuebert and Scott Schuebert; 2 great granddaughters: Hansley Luke and Addie Luke.

A graveside funeral service will be held Monday June 2, 2025, at 11 AM in the Flat Creek cemetery with the Rev. Mickey Lindsey officiating. Visitation will be in the cemetery thirty minutes prior to the service.
