Obituary

Donald Earl Harnage, 80, of Nashville, died Wednesday April 12, 2023 at his residence.

He was born June 26, 1942 in Berrien County to the late Arlie Newton Harnage and the late Maudie Howell Harnage. He was a retired mechanic with the Berrien County Board of Education, farmer, worked at Nashville Mills and Chaparral Boats. He loved all automotive mechanics and was a member of Flat Creek Church. He was preceded in death by a sister: Lenora Jefferson and 3 brothers: Herman Harnage, Henry Harnage and Sherman Harnage.

He is survived by his wife: Katie Hall Harnage of Nashville; daughter: Tonya (Tim) Swilley of Valdosta; son: Stacy (Jeannine) Harnage of Nashville; sister: Betty Hughes of Nashville; 3 grandchildren: Rachel (Eric) Johnson, Rebekah (Hunter) Anglea and Daniel Harnage; 4 step grandchildren: Aaron Mullins, Justin Mullins, Brandy Mullins and Joe Mullins; 4 great grandchildren: Brooks Anglea, Collins Anglea, Tate Johnson and Price Johnson; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Saturday April 15, 2023 at 2 PM in the Flat Creek Church with the Rev. Mark Swain and Rev. Shaun Suggs officiating. Interment will follow in the Flat Creek cemetery. Visitation will be held Friday from 7 to 9 PM in the funeral home.
