Donald Lee “Donnie” Godwin, 74, of Nashville, died Saturday, October 24, 2026, at his residence.

He was born March 18, 1952, in Berrien County to the late Jesse Lee Godwin and the late Kathryn Louise Thompson. He was a retired pipeline safety coordinator with the Sheehan Pipe Corporation, served in the United States Marine Corps and Vietnam. He loved his family, enjoyed riding motorcycles and a good game of cards.

He is survived by his daughter: Jennifer (Jake) Meeler of Nashville; 2 grandchildren: Saylor and Kristen.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, October 27, 2026, at 2 PM in the Chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with the Rev. Tommy Bussey officiating. Interment will follow in the Nashville Memorial Gardens. Visitation is Tuesday in the funeral home one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Thomasville Humane Society (Thomasvillehumane.org/donate).
